Is giving Batman a son as big of a hindrance as making Spider-Man a husband? Is it bad, long-term, for the character?
Only time will tell. People seem to like Damien, but I just can’t wrap my head around how he’s supposed to make sense in a world in which Batman hasn’t been around all that long. How old do they figure Batman is these days?
I think Morrison or Snyder explained it that Damian’s growth was accelerated somehow. Also, when he was created, it was pre-Flashpoint, so Bruce was older than he became in New 52…
Trying to make sense of comics is hard. That’s why I gave up and just read the stories for what they are now.
